As Inclusion Club Director and University of Worcester lecturer Ken Black explains:

“The Worcester Series marks the beginning of an exciting new partnership between The Inclusion club and the University of Worcester. The University is a national leader with an international reputation for excellent practice in inclusive sport, and I am sure that this collaboration will help us to share both our expertise and the ground-breaking work that we do in this area with a global audience.”

The first webinar in the series will be delivered by two University of Worcester students, Chloe French and Lauren Goater, who will be discussing their experience of working with the Worcester Snoezelen to provide inclusive sports opportunities for people with severe and complex impairments. The webinar will explore both the challenges they faced, and the huge personal and professional value they gained. As Lauren explains:

“This has been an amazing experience for us. To have the opportunity to meet and work with a variety of participants with a wide range of disabilities is a privilege. This experience has given me the chance to grow as a coach as well as provide fun and inclusive sports sessions to help the players’ development in a wide range of sports. For the experiences I have had, I will be eternally grateful to everyone at Snoezelen.”
